JSTOR Usage Statistics Help
The JSTOR Usage Statistics Form may be used to create a tailored report of the JSTOR activity at your institution. Our server looks at the IP address of your machine, determines your site affiliation, and returns statistical data for your specific institution. Once you have submitted your request, the usage statistics report will be processed immediately.

You will have access only to your institution's data and the aggregate JSTOR data. Data is available for 1997 to the present. Data is added at the end of each day so the report is always up-to-date. The information below explains the report options in detail.

  • breakdown by journal title and discipline: the number of accesses listed alphabetically by discipline, and alphabetically by journal title within each discipline group (note: for journals which have undergone title changes, the previous titles are listed immediately below the current title of the journal)
  • summary of use of 19th Century British Pamphlets: the number of accesses from your site to pamphlets available in the 19th Century British Pamphlets collection, which is available as a free trial until June 30, 2009
  • breakdown by hour of access: the number of accesses for the entire time period broken down by the hour of the day
  • breakdown by smaller time-units: if an entire year is selected, accesses are listed by individual months of that year; if an individual month is selected, accesses are listed by individual days of that month
