Explanation of Abbreviations

The total number of accesses for your institution is divided into several categories:

Browsing: accesses which may indicate browsing behavior
- title-list: number of accesses to list of all journals
- vol/iss: number of accesses to lists of volumes and issues
- TOCs: number of accesses to Tables of Contents
- citations: number of citations viewed
Viewing: accesses which reflect that article pages were viewed online
- pages: number of individual article pages accessed
- article: number of different articles viewed
  This option is included only in certain breakdowns in the report. The word "article" appears in parentheses to indicate that this number is not included in the total number of accesses.
Printing: number of articles printed or downloaded from the printing page in a special printing format
- jprint: number of articles printed using the JPRINT helper application
- pdf: number of articles downloaded in .pdf format
- ps: number of articles downloaded in PostScript format
Searches: number of searches performed in all journals
Total: Total number of accesses (title-list, vol/iss, TOCs, citations, pages, jprint, pdf, Ps, searches combined)

Summary Report

Accesses from 1998/07 to 1999/06

If a time period does not appear, then it contained no accesses from your site.
(Note that the number of articles viewed is not included in the total column.)
